Residents of Apahaj Ashram celebrated Diwali 2013.
At this special event Mr.Hardip Singh Goldy (CEO
Amantel USA & President Akali Dal Badal (New Jersey) USA)
along with his wife donated an amount of Rs.2,00,000/-
(rupees two lakhs) & promised to donate the same amount
every year to Apahaj Ashram.
Shri.Chunni Lal Bhagat (Forest Minister, Punjab)
also attended the event & contributed Rs.5,00,000/-
(rupees five lakhs), Shri.K.D.Bhandari (Chief
Parliamentary Secretary, Punjab) contributed
Rs.1,00,000/- (rupees one lakhs), Mr.Pritam Singh
Narangpur (Ex-President N.R.I. Sabha, Punjab)
assured to contribute an amount of Rs.50,000/- to
Rs.1,00,000/- per month through the N.R.I. Community
settled globaly. Mr.Vinod Ghai (M.D. Unique
Manufacturing Company) also donated an amount of
Rs.31,000/- (rupees thirty one thousand) at this event.
Mr.Sunil Jyoti (Mayor, Municipal
Corporation-Jalandhar), Mr.Rakesh Rathor (Ex-Mayor,
Municipal Corporation-Jalandhar), Retd. Brig.
Mr.Jagdish Gugneja, Mr.Subhash Sood (District
President B.J.P.) Mr.Kuldip Bhagat (Chartered
Accountant) & many other municipal councilors were also
present at this occasion.
